Background
Coin (often stylized as COIN) is an American pop-rock band that was formed in 2012 in Nashville, Tennessee. The band comprises three members: Chase Lawrence, the lead vocalist and synthesizer player, Ryan Winnen, the drummer, and Joe Memmel, the lead guitarist and backing vocalist. They have been making music for a while now, and their sound has evolved over the years, as can be seen in their sophomore album, How Will You Know If You Never Try, which was released after their debut self-titled album.

The band wanted an album that was more upbeat and had a summer-rock feel to it, as opposed to the indie-pop sound of their debut album. The brief was to capture the emotions of growing older and worrying about the future, while also showcasing the sweet side of being a boyfriend. 

To achieve this, we paired the sound with an art direction that was inspired by the 80s. The album's artwork and visuals feature bright and bold colors that evoke a sense of nostalgia and fun. This combination of music and art perfectly captures the essence of COIN and its unique style.
